Volunteer at Yellowstone

Yellowstone thrives on the support of our community.

Yellowstone Schools partners with hundreds of volunteers each year to enrich our students’ educations. Volunteers like you are a crucial part of our family, and our students and staff take great joy in welcoming you to our campus.

Your work ensures that Yellowstone’s students achieve their God-given potential through a faith-based education. We welcome you to apply to become a volunteer by following the steps outlined below.

Volunteer Application Steps

Please note, all volunteers must complete the application process each school year.

  1. Read the 2022-2023 Volunteer Handbook. Volunteers will sign the volunteer handbook at their first orientation and training. We will print it and have it ready for you as part of your welcome packet. Click here to view the 2022-23 Volunteer Handbook.
  2. Complete the volunteer application through Raptor, our volunteer management system. Please note, you will need your state-issued ID and social security number*. Please enter your information as listed on your state-issued ID. This is a state requirement for all volunteers interacting with children.
  3. Once your application is reviewed and approved, you will receive an email to create an account with Raptor to view the Yellowstone Volunteer Portal. This is where you can sign up for upcoming volunteer opportunities, track your hours, and more.
  4. We will notify you via email with available opportunities through Raptor and our monthly volunteer newsletter.

Please contact Maricela Ramos, volunteer coordinator, at mramos@yellowstoneschools.org or 713-741-8000 if you have any questions.
