Volunteer at Yellowstone

Yellowstone thrives on the support of our community.

Yellowstone Schools partners with hundreds of volunteers each year to enrich our students’ educations. Volunteers like you are a crucial part of our family, and our students and staff take great joy in welcoming you to our campus.

Your work ensures that Yellowstone’s students achieve their God-given potential through a faith-based education. We welcome you to apply to become a volunteer by following the steps outlined below.

Volunteer Roles

There are many ways to volunteer at Yellowstone Schools. Whether you want to volunteer as a single person or with a larger group, there are several ways that you can serve. If you have any questions about the following roles or have an idea for serving that isn't listed, please let us know at advancement@yellowstoneschools.org or call us at 713.741.8000.

Lunch Buddies

Spend time with our students who need a little extra love! Volunteer and enjoy weekly 1:1 interactions with students during lunchtime. Additional steps are required.

Classroom Volunteer

Support our teachers as they work to provide high-quality frontline instruction and care for our students. Most classroom volunteers serve on a weekly basis.

Additional steps are required.

Office Volunteer

Support our front-office staff as they work to check-in visitors, record tardy arrivals, and other administrative tasks. Opportunities are available on a weekly basis.

Additional steps are required.

Rubbish Roundup

Gather your friends, coworkers, a church group, or family members and help us keep our campus and neighborhood beautiful by picking up trash and litter.

Off-Campus Events

Support our staff during off-campus events such as our annual Party in the Park fundraiser. Duties typically include helping with registration, setup, and teardown tasks.
