Family Survey, Food Distribution, and Other Important Information

Dear Yellowstone Families,

As we move through this week of spring break and prepare for the school closure in the weeks ahead, we hope that you and your family are managing through this crisis. In the coming days, we will be sharing more with you about how we will continue our academic program and serve your students remotely. In the meantime, here are a few important updates:

  1. To help us figure out the best way to serve your family, please take a moment to fill out this brief survey online: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/B8KQ9L7

  2. Our first priority is to make sure your family’s food needs are being met. Starting Monday, Yellowstone will provide two ways that your family can secure additional food resources:

    • On Monday, March 23 at 10:00, the Houston Food Bank trailer will be parked in our main parking lot. We will have volunteers and staff on site to assist you with the food distribution. The trailer will be in the parking lot every day through Wednesday, March 25. We are working with the Food Bank to see if this can be extended beyond these first three days of school closure.

    • Starting Monday, March 23, we will be using our buses to distribute student meals at our bus stop locations. Be on the lookout for a message later this week with updated route information and the approximate times we will be at your stop. At the stop, we will be able to provide a student meal that you can then take home to prepare. We will also have a station on campus if you do not currently ride the bus and would rather come to campus. The timing of this meal service will be from 10:00 to approximately 1:00 daily. Look for more details later this week.

  3. Be sure to check our website for further updates and online resources regarding COVID-19 you can access to assist you and your family through this time. Here is the link: https://yellowstoneschools.org/

We will be standing alongside you as we work through this crisis. Thank you for being a part of the Yellowstone family and we look forward to sharing more information with you in the days to come.
