Updates for the Week of April 6, 2020

Dear Yellowstone Families,

We look forward to serving you and our students this coming week. Here are a couple of important updates from Yellowstone:

  • Food Distribution is taking place on Monday, April 6 from 11:00 to 2:00. Click here for a list of our bus stops and the times we will be there: https://yellowstoneschools.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Bus-Routes-Food-Distribution-Program-April-2020.pdf. We will also be distributing meals on campus during the same time period. Please note that this week the meal distribution will take place at the gym entrance on Sauer Street (instead of on Hadley).
  • Due to unforeseen circumstances, the chromebook distribution that was originally scheduled for Monday has been postponed. If you were contacted by a staff member about picking up a chromebook on Monday, we will be reaching out to you with the new distribution detail for later in the week. Look for more information via email or through a phone call at the start of this week. Thank you for your patience as we ensure every family has access to technology!
  • Please note that this Friday, we will be observing the Good Friday holiday that was originally on our school calendar. This means that staff will not be available for office hours or other contact that day, but student work that is assigned will still be due by 5:00 that evening. If you have any questions, please reach out to your child’s teacher at the beginning of this week.

On a final note, that we ask that you do your best to follow our posted office hours when contacting your child’s teachers. We are all working together to ensure you have the resources you need for your family to be successful during this time, and we need our staff to be rested and prepared, while also serving the needs of their own families.

We appreciate your partnership with us—and we look forward to having a great week of instruction! Look for another email update in the next few days as we continue through Holy Week and prepare for this special holiday weekend.

Sincerely,

The Yellowstone Team
